Certificate research: PG (Parental Guidance)

Image result for pgA PG (Parental Guidance) film, is a film for general viewing, however the producers declare that some scenes may be unsuitable for young children. A PG film claims that it shouldn’t disturb nor unsettle any child aged 8 or above.

Unaccompanied children of any age would be allowed to watch, however parents are advised that they should consider whether the content may upset younger or more sensitive children. Parents know their children best therefore they’re given the last judgment.

The language from the films may be mild bad language, and some nudity is allowed yet it cannot be, if it is linked to romantic activity. Horror scenes shouldn’t be too long or scary therefore minimising the impact on children.

Examples of a PG films would be; Paddington Movie and The Minions. These include all of the above.
